Why our transportation and pallet rates are changing on July 1, 2026

What's changing?

On July 1, 2026 we're making our annual adjustment to cross-border transportation, mid-mile and pallet rates. For most customers the change is small. The lightest parcels (under 1 lb) move to our standard rate.

Why?

Two reasons, both outside any single provider's control:

  • Fuel and carrier costs have risen steadily since the spring. Across the industry, carriers and cross-border providers raised their rates effective June 1, 2026.

  • Cross-border into the U.S. is getting more complex - the end of Section 321 de-minimis, new tariffs, and the CPSC electronic filing requirement starting July 8. Handling that well takes more work behind the scenes.

What we chose not to do.

Many providers are adding a separate fuel surcharge on top of their rate increases. We decided not to add one for this update, so your all-in cost stays as lean as we can keep it.

What it means for you.

The updated rates are on our pricing page: https://shipsavvy.com/us-shipping-prices/#drop_off. If you'd like help understanding the impact on your specific business, contact your account manager or our support team.
