Signing Up for Insurance

This article will act as a guide on how to sign up for Insurance.

This is applicable for our Shipping service and Imports service. Unfortunately, this is not available for our international shipping service and some of our shipping or imports where we do not provide the shipping label.

Insurance cost is $1.5 for every $100 value insured above the $100 value already covered. This means the minimum coverable amount is always $101.

Where to select the option

You can view this as part of our "Additional Options" section During your shipment or import creation. Under this section, you can see the "Add Import Insurance coverage" option.

Getting Shipping Insurance

1. Go to Shipment Creation.
2. Go to Additional Options and click on "Add shipment insurance coverage" option.
3. Indicate the declared value. The minimum and maximum amount of the declared value is indicated on the bottom.
4. Proceed with shipment completion.

Getting Import Insurance

1. Go to Import Creation.
2. Go to Additional Options and click on "Add shipment insurance coverage" option.
3. Indicate the declared value. The minimum and maximum amount of the declared value is indicated on the bottom.
4. Proceed with shipment completion.
