Savvy Wallet 2.0 How-To Guide


Savvy Wallet 2.0 is now available in the ShipSavvy Portal. This refreshed wallet experience gives you a clearer view of your available balance, recent activity, and shipping-related charges, so you can manage your account with more confidence and fewer manual checks. Whether you’re preparing upcoming shipments, reviewing costs, or keeping your account funded, Savvy Wallet 2.0 helps simplify the way you manage shipping payments in one place.


Funding Your Wallet

ShipSavvy Wallet supports the following funding methods:

  • Linked Bank Account (NEW)
  • Credit Card
  • Interac e-Transfer
You can also take advantage of automated funding features, including:
  • Scheduled Transfers – Schedule recurring deposits into your wallet.
  • Auto Top-Up – Automatically add funds when your wallet balance falls below a specified threshold.

Linking Your Bank Account

Before you can fund your wallet using EFT, you'll need to link your bank account.

Required Information

To add a bank account, you'll need:

  • Institution Number
  • Transit Number
  • Account Number
  • Account Holder Name


Once your bank account has been successfully linked, it will be available as a funding source for future wallet transfers.


Funding Your Wallet via Bank Transfer

After linking your bank account:

  • Navigate to your Wallet.
  • Select Add Funds.
  • Choose your linked bank account as the funding method.
  • Enter the amount you wish to transfer.
  • Confirm the transfer.


Your transfer will be submitted for processing.


Processing Time

  • Bank transfers are typically pending for 1–3 business days before funds become available in your ShipSavvy Wallet.

  • Once the transfer has been received and confirmed by our payment processor, the funds are automatically added to your wallet balance.



Transaction Status

All wallet activity is available from your Wallet transaction history.


You'll be able to view:

  • Pending transfers
  • Completed transfers
  • Other wallet funding transactions


This allows you to easily monitor the status of your deposits while they are being processed.


Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my bank transfer still pending?

Bank transfers typically require 1–3 business days to clear. During this time, your transaction will appear as Pending in your wallet history.


When will my funds be available?

Your wallet will be funded automatically once the bank transfer has been confirmed. No additional action is required.


Can I still use my previous funding methods?

Yes. ShipSavvy Wallet continues to support both Credit Card and Interac e-Transfer funding alongside the new bank transfer option.
